Short version: Your documents are processed on-device. We do not sell your data or track you for advertising.

1. Information We Collect

• Documents and files (on-device): PDFs, photos, scans, signatures, and edits you create or import in the App.
• Purchase and subscription information: Subscription and entitlement status provided through Apple (StoreKit) and processed via RevenueCat for subscription management.
• Support communications: Information you send when contacting support.
• Local usage/quota data: Local counters used to manage free usage limits for certain features.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide PDF signing, scanning, editing, and export features.
• To manage subscriptions, free trials, and Pro feature access.
• To restore purchases and maintain subscription status.
• To respond to user support requests.

3. On-Device Processing

PDFDone processes documents primarily on your device. We do not upload or store your documents or document contents on our servers for core app functionality.

4. Free Usage Limits

PDFDone can be used for free with limited usage for certain features. Free usage is enforced through local counters stored on your device.

These counters are used only to manage feature access (for example, free signing/scanning/export allowances) and are not used for advertising or tracking.

Local usage data may be stored securely on-device (including iOS secure storage mechanisms such as Keychain) and is not linked to your real-world identity.

5. Subscriptions and RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat (a third-party subscription infrastructure provider) to help manage in-app subscriptions, validate receipts, and keep subscription status synchronized across app sessions.

RevenueCat may process limited subscription-related data, such as:

• Anonymous app user identifier
• Purchase and subscription status (including trial/active/expired state)
• Product identifiers (for example, monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans)
• Basic technical/app metadata required for subscription functionality

This information is used only for subscription functionality, purchase restoration, fraud prevention, and service reliability. It is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising.

We only share limited data with service providers when necessary to operate the App, such as:

• Apple (StoreKit / App Store): For purchases and subscription billing.
• RevenueCat: For subscription validation and entitlement management.

Files are shared only when you explicitly choose to export or share them.

7. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Handles purchases and subscriptions according to Apple’s policies.
• RevenueCat: Helps manage subscription status and receipt validation.

The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use your data for advertising tracking.

8. Permissions

• Camera: For scanning documents (optional).
• Photos: For importing images and saving exported images (optional).
• Files: For selecting PDFs and documents (optional).

9. Data Retention

Temporary files may be stored locally on your device during editing and export. You control your data and can remove it at any time by deleting files from your device or deleting the app.

10. Children’s Privacy

PDFDone is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page by updating the “Last updated” date.
